Colca Canyon Tour

This is a scenicand cultural tour that will take you to one of the deepest Canyon of the world with great animal diversity.

FIRST DAY:

Pick up from the Hostal Solar at 08:30 A.M. The first stop is in Pampa Cañahuas, this is a National Reserve this a perfect place to spot vicuñas (Aguada Blanca y Salinas National Reserve), after a while we stop in Vizcachani for a coca tea to help climatization, next stop is in Patapampa that is the highest view point from there you can appreciate the volcanos Ampato and Hualca Hualca. Finally, you will arrive in Chivay town about 13:00 p.m, where you will enjoy lunch after that we check in the hotel.

In the afternoon we relax in the hot springs (swimming pool) La Calera the medicinal water come from the volcano Cotalluni with 35 degrees located besides Rio Colca.

SECOND DAY:

After a nearly breakfast 6.00 a.m.we leave to Condor cross view point about 45 minutes drive, from there you can appreciate the deep of the Canyon and the flight of the Condors, when we come back by the same road, we stop in different view points to see wonderful landscapes, small villages as Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque, to see the colonial churches and farm terraces along the valley.

We go back to Chivay at 12:00 for the lunch, and aprox 13:00 we start our way back to Arequipa City (arrive about 17:30 aprox.)
